Joint 3rd Place - Scriptwriting category of our 2022 International Literary Prize: Anthony Powers

3rd Place (Joint) in the Scriptwriting/Screenplay category of our 2022 Hammond House Publishing International Literary Prize (awarded by the University Centre Grimsby) is: Feeding on a Man's Wound, by Anthony Powers, of the UK.

Anthony's poem - On a journey - was also shortlisted in the competition.

Anthony told us: "I’m very pleased to have come joint third in the scriptwriting competition and been shortlisted in the poetry competition.

"I am a retired medical practitioner who has now turned to writing. I hold a B.A. (Hons) in English Literature and Creative Writing and have had several poems published and recently finished my first novel."

Winners and shortlisted entries in the short story, poetry and song lyrics categories will be published in the 2023 Hammond House Publishing anthologies to be launched at our annual Literary Festival on 22nd February 2023 at the University Centre Grimsby.
