Highly Commended in the Scriptwriting/Screenplay category in our 2022 Hammond House Publishing International Literary Prize (awarded by the University Centre Grimsby) is 'Friends for Life' by Julie Anne Booth from the UK.
Julie Anne Booth is from Grimsby, UK. She graduated with a First Class Honours degree in BA Professional Writing at the University Centre Grimsby in 2017.
Julie has since written short films as training purposes for actors - two of which: Switzerland and Birthday Boy were produced and shown at a screening in Manchester along with other writers' short films. The production company entered Birthday Boy into the Shark Creative Awards Festival, Kinsale, County Cork.
Julie is currently seeking representation for her feature-length TV drama, Midlife Crisis.
Winners and shortlisted entries in the short story, poetry and song lyrics categories will be published in the 2023 Hammond House Publishing anthologies to be launched at our annual Literary Festival on 22nd February 2023 at the University Centre Grimsby.
