Congratulations to Kirily McKellor from Victoria, Australia for achieving 3rd place in our songwriting (lyrics) category for her song 'Lady of the Night' and for her Highly Commended entry 'Bent, Bowed, Broken, Beautiful' in our 2021 Hammond House Publishing International Literary Prize.

Kirily McKellor is an actor, writer, poet, and lyricist from Victoria, Australia. She is very excited to have two songs shortlisted in the lyrics section of the 2021 Hammond House Publishing Literary Prize.

She has a great love of history, Shakespeare, and the macabre, and has been writing for as long as she can remember. Her monologue Whisper Darkness in Mine Ear was selected this year by Voices of Women to be performed at an International Women's Day event in Ryde. Kirily's first anthology of verse Truth and Other Lies will be published in 2022.
