In April we launched our free Staying Home Competition, which challenged writers to send in short stories about the COVID-19 Lockdown – and the response we received was amazing. The staggering range of entries represented a fascinating cross-section of a particularly volatile snapshot in time, and tackled many of the issues surrounding the lockdown, the virus and its impact on individuals and society.

Now Hammond House's Ted Stanley has a new challenge for writers. What can writers do to tackle other current worldwide issues, like climate change, and use their work to raise awareness?

Watch the video to find out how writers can use their unique talents to tell the human stories behind the headlines.
