Author Profile: Laurence Short

Avid cinemagoer Laurence, lives in Barton-upon-Humber and loves the buzz of live music events. He's an author and journalist, writing articles for Voxx magazine, and part of the team that worked on a Birkwood Newsletter in 2012. Inspired by TV and film from past and present and world events, his crime fiction stories look at life on both sides of the law. Currently taking a BA in professional writing Laurence plans to supplement his writing income as an English teacher and part time sports journalist. His latest short story ‘A Little Thing Called Money’ to be published by Hammond House later this year, explores the violence of urban gang culture.
